Just wondered if anybody had come across http://carssitesltd.com
It claims to be offering repossessed cars from banks or the gov. Cars all look good but some are ridiculously cheap.
2009 Audi A5 3.0TDI for 11500 ? way below market price.

Any thoughts guys ?

So you arrange to pay via an unrecorded method, and they absolutely promise they'll deliver a car to you within 5 days of receiving your payment.

That seems perfectly reasonable to me silly

Haha, you're too slow. I've already bought that A5! Sent the money first thing this morning.

I can't wait until it arrives. I'll be posting up some pics next week.

Won't I?

Pretty routine, happens every few months.

Scam site appears, newbie arrives with first post asking about it, everyone points out it's a scam.

Going by previous, there will be a few newbies suddenly appearing all asking the same question with
their first post.

Nothing to do with me guys, promise. i think it looks far too shady. was just wondering if anybody has come across it.
You send them your money, only then do they send you the car ?
As always if something looks too good to be true it usually is.

If its a used car and I pay the full price, then I am driving it away that day. I would never dream of paying the full price if I couldnt take it there and then

Seeing as it was only set up yesterday, as has been shown above, it is unlikely anybody has come across it. Not trying to be funny but if it is nothing to do with you then you've done well to stumble across it it one day, but could be true I suppose.

If you really are asking whether this is too good to be true then clearly it's a big fat yes!

I was pulling up autotrader last night and the link came up so i thought i'd have a look. Then proceeded to waste an hour on the site.
If you want a laugh look up their US address on google maps. Looks genuine to me!!! in the meantime must find 10,000 to send off for my 05 M5 before somebody else nabs it ha ha

Carmen:

pub:

Carmen:
Please give me the vehicle code#
pub:
498565363
Carmen:
The vehicle it is still available and the final price is £5,083.00
Carmen:
There are no hidden fees (NO REGISTRATION FEES, NO PURCHASING FEES, NO INSURANCE OR SHIPPING FEES). The price listed on our website is final. YOU ONLY HAVE TO PAY THE LISTED PRICE.
pub:
where is the car based
Carmen:
We win vehicles at auctions all over the country. The cars have been taken over by the government or by financial institutions or banks from people with financial woes and cannot pay for the loans that they made. Local pick-up is not available. Most of the vehicles are stored at the parking lots of banks and financial institutions. They don't have showrooms or specialized people in order to offer this service. They are pressing us to take the car from there as soon as possible. In order to avoid unnecessary shipping costs, we prefer to find a buyer and deliver the car directly to his address. You will be able to inspect the car at you home and if you decide not to keep it, we are going to refund your payment and take the car back free of charge.
pub:
ok
pub:
well i can pay 4000 gbp only
pub:
does that work ?
Carmen:
We are sorry but the prices are not negotiable.

http://www.r32oc.com/general-chat/39834-seems-too-... too, so it does happen.

That one has now been shut down though.
