If you lived in The States what would you drive?
Discussion
I've often wondered that if I lived across the pond I wouldn't own a Passat,a Mini Cooper S and a Westfield!
I wonder what my daily drive, my Mrs' 'ride' and my weekend toy would be?
Forget the first two, Im sure they'd be pretty boring but as a weekend toy I suppose I'd have to have a V8, over here I like small, lightweight cars but I reckon I'd own something like this....muscley but still a bit sporty!

I know you can get Caterhams and Lotus' out there but I think the whole muscle car culture would draw me in!

I did live in the US for 6 yrs - and enormously enjoyed owning and driving my 2000 GT Mustang Covertible 4.6li. Purchased new for $29k (then £17k), I drove it for 75k in the US...then imported it when I returned to the UK, did another 60k in the UK over the next 5 yrs and then sold it for a shade under £4k. Doubt I will ever get as good value from another car...
A great car, took me all over the US and although it had tonnes of plastic everywhere, it had real character. With a flowmaster muffler, it sounded pretty splendid as well. I hope it is enjoying its cossetted retirement with its new owner

This is going to sound very boring but I always fancied getting myself one of these if I lived in the States.

Dodge Intrepid
Also had one of these as a rental once and wouldn't have minded owning one.

Cadillac Deville
I know like I said very boring compared to all the Mustang's and F150 pickups but I just have a weird soft spot for everyday American cars. I suppose the novelty would wear off if I actually lived there though.
