Anyone know if I can do a chip repair in current temperatur

I have a DIY chip repair kit from Planet polish to repair a chip. there is nothing on the instructions about what temp it should be used in, just that it should cure in direct sunlight for 10 mins, or an hour on a hazy day. Well it's clear and sunny here, but very cold.
Anyone know if it'll work?

The Autoglass chap who came out to repair my chip last week asked me to put the car heating on the windscreen to warm the screen up as he was doing the repair to cure the resin (2 mins after he start injecting the screen a 12in crack developed and I now have a new screen!)
