Non VAG Derv 4x4 options,

I am looking for another option to the obvious vag 4x4 saloon or estate car.
Must be derv.
Nothing against vw, audi, skoda etc but i was just wondering what else there is, ive had a good look but not come up with much.
£6000 max.
Can anyone advise.

You wont get a diesel subaru for that budget, but you will get a toyota rav4, which are pretty able, the mk2 version is full time AWD, the later one would probably not be in budget and only has part time AWD

You budget should get you into a pretty decent Jeep cherokee, or possibly even a grand cherokee

No, only the 2.5 and 3 ltr petrols were AWD.

I dont want a big 4x4, just a car that is 4 wheel drive.
Like i said other than VAG pickings are slim.
