XC90, chipping & performance

Hi All

Just bought an Volvo XC90 2.9 T6 SE (2004) in petrol and as you can imagine its a thirsty beast. Can I chip it to get better fuel economy? If so what's a good chip to use?

It's doubtful that any chip will offer significant enough improvements in MPG to outweigh the price of the chip.
Sadly, the most cost effective option is to suffer the mpg. (or change car)

The logic with the T6 is that you buy them cheap to offset the drink habit (or gearbox replacement)

On the helpful side - you can get chips. There are essentially 3-4 main players and not a massive amount in it. If you want MPG.... see if the suppliers can validate their claims.
