A privately owned warranty company who maintain that as their product is not an insurance policy (unlike their competitors), althought they trade through Warranty Wise Insurance Services, they are not regulated by the Financial Services Authority or are members of the Financial Ombudsman scheme. There is therefore no 'safety net' tp protect policyholders if they were to get into financial difficulty or recourse to a third party, other than the Courts, in the event of a dispute with them. Their premiums are very competive and they clearly, according to their advertisements, have many satisfied customers.

Hmm, not sure where 'competitive' comes into their premiums.

In my experience about double that of their biggest competitor.
