Called in there for a 'comfort break' this afternoon. First time for many years but my god.....what a simply hideous place. I cannot find a single positive thing to say. Even the bogs were half out of order and full of some sort of eastern european lorry driver symposium!
Someone please tell me it's due to be flattened and redeveloped!
Quite simply the worst few acres on this blessed isle!

I confess to having spent more than a few happy hours at Tilbury kart circuit back in the day.There are a few south Essex places that are similarly hideous it was the unexpected awfulness of Watford Gap that caught me unawares.
