Which car alarm?

Hi guys,

I'm potentially getting a Silvia soon so I want to get a damn good alarm to go on it. The importers have said they can put a Thatcham Cobra on it but I think it's just a very basic one.

Can anyone recommend a damn good one with all the gadgets on? I've been looking at a Viper480xv due to its pager function etc. I have also seen US versions such as the Viper 5904 but can't seem to find it in the UK?

Obviously it must be Thatcham approved to please insurance. Budget I'm not 'too' bothered about. Probobaly top end around £300 or something?
