Last night I stumbled across www.vimulator.com. You input lots of details about a/your car (gear ratios, power curve, drag coefficient) and it runs the car in an simulation. The car can then be uploaded online and compared to other cars in a graphical model.
It kept me entertained for a few hours, worth checking out. Also, if somebody wants to create a remapped 335d and race it against an e46 M3
