I have no desire to buy a Mazda despite the MX5. I'd never buy a Renault that wasn't a Sport model.

Why is it that some excellent cars fail to shed light on the rest of the range in the same way as BMW's M, Audi's S and the like?

Last Halo model Renault did was the Clio V6.

Perhaps 'halo' is a mistake to apply to any Mazda!

refelected glory i think would be better

despite being decent the MX5 does not raise the profile of any other mazda one bit


here's the most obvious one

Nissan GTR, stunningly bonkers car, does nothing to raise the image of the rest of the nissan white goods range
