hi chaps,
The OH has just rang to say she thinks the power e has gone, if it this anyone got ideas on cost repair?
We have been thinking of changing it anyway and the OH quite likes the skoda roadstar(sp) and the Nissan juke.
Anyone got any knowedge of these or any preferences of others.
TIA
Chris.

Bump.
After visiting her parents it now has ABS light on and SERVICE light showing.
As its a 54 plate is it better to get a new car?
We have 2 dogs and need good boot space.
Any ideas chaps.

The service light is probably just linked to the ABS light which could just be a faulty sensor. Not an expensive job to fix if it is that but no way of knowing without taking it to a garage.

Now then chaps,
So it turns out that the pump is at fault and as it is an electric pump it will cost about £260 ish including vat plus fitting etc...
The OH is swaying to get another car as she has this nagging thing in the back of her mind that something else will go wrong and will just start to cost more and more.
Also the cv drive? Is worn and this also may need sorting,
Her dilemma is does she get the pump fixed and when/if this cv goes fix that or does she just get rid and source a new car?
Don't know hot do a vote so could you please reply with a FIX IT or SELL IT post.
This should sort her dilemma.
TIA.
