Looks like it's above 90k miles. Shocking tongue out

And it looks like it's got a rear light out. Selling an unroadworthy car... shocking!

What a complete hound that car is.

Broken temperature sensor as well, as its showing -40c.

If you want to buy an E39 it really pays to find a lovely example or it'll just be a deep pit into which you will relentlessly shovel money.

Avoid like the plague, there's loads of these with over 180k on the clock, this one could have easily been clocked.

No paperwork plus admission the car is clocked.... you are taking a big chance because the lack of MOT and logbook will mean you can't even check on the previous MOT mileage before buying.

That interior is very worn too. I would guess it has seen 150k absolute minium, hence the cover story for the clocking and the 'missing' docs.

It went for £2600 assuming a genuine bidder.
The seller is called carswithnoreserve, they're all repos or have no history, and they're advertised on ebay.
I don't see what the issue is; buyer beware always?
Someone has got a leggy 52 plate 530d with no history. Run it for a year and scrap it or sell on.
If £2600 is a lot of money to you (and I appreciate it is to a lot of people) then buy cars from somewhere more reputable.

You could get a proper one for less than that.

One that definitely hasn't been nicked, or clocked, or whatever...
