I walk out of the house this morning to walk to the shops and see a dent in the front wing of the car. This upset me a little as it was in relatively good condition. I look closer and there are cracks on the paint. This upset me more as this dent could easily be pulled/ pushed out of the wing.
I knew that I hadn't hit anything when parking up s I thought that a friend may have tried to push the car by the wing when we were trying to bump-start it the other day and inadvertently caused the dent.
I am now told that the girls next door saw some at around midnight last night kicking and throwing bins around the pavement and saw one which possibly hit my car.

fking annoyed is the only way to describe me at the moment.

Some may say "Calm down, it's only a 14 year old Rover." Well it may be a 14 year old Rover but it's my 14 year old Rover and I reat it very carefully indeed. Then some tt throws a fking wheely bin at it!

Pissed off!!!

14 year old Rover or not, no one has the right to damage your property, only scum would do this to another man's car.

Those are the same people who will say "its only a car". Some people treat cars as white goods. Those are the people who are dead inside and I pity them.

Still looking for a decent bonnet for my car that was damaged when someone jumped on it frown

Dead inside? Personally I envy them for not having to give a st about something that is placed outside, at risk to the world. These people have better things to play with than cars, we can't all have the same interests and hobbies.

If however, they have no interests and don't have any pride and joy in their lives, I pity them.

Indeed.

As someone said, it should be legal to beat these people. The only problem I can see with this is that these people quite often know how to fight too.

Sorry to hear that buddy.

Keep the bin in question though. When you catch the guy, ask him if the bin is familiar as you start to place bits of him into it. Maybe. winkbiggrin

yes

My Porsche was parked behind my shop once, which is a small shared car park with those big 4 wheeled industrial bins nearby.

Some utter fkwit smashed a bin into the side of it, and left a big scuff. Luckily it was on the quarter panel just behind the door, and the panel is quite small and curved, so quite tough and luckily it didn't dent it.

Had to have the scuff smart repaired though...£££££

The bins were 6 odd metres away on flat ground, and it wasn't windy, so it was no fluke. Someone deemed it their mission to grab a bin and push it into my car.

I was like this:

Start beating him up and when someone tells you to stop say "Calm down, it's just a human! There are 7 billion more of the bd things!".

ETA not the man who says it's just a rover, as piss boiling he may be. The bin throwing tard if you ever meet him.

Similar thing, I got a phone call this morning from a customer who runs a conservative club/working mens club, they wanted me to go and take some footage off their CCTV system as one of their regulars had his car damaged.

Spent ages browsing the footage, eventually found it, The 2 cars involved were the regulars, both left their cars overnight, this morning, both came to collect their cars within half an hour of each other, one of them reversed his Corsa out of the parking space straight into the front of a parked Micra then just drove straight off. The people that work their were questioning why the Micra driver was even bothered as it's, "only a beaten up old Micra"

I tried to tell them it's the principal of it that's more annoying, the Micra's still the old guys only means of transport and is now off the road whilst it gets the bumper and headlight fixed. Granted now they know who it was so hopefully it'll not come out of his own pocket, but he'll still be inconvenienced for a few days.
