I'm the best man for my mates wedding. He's getting married in Farnborough, Hampshire on the morning of March the 31st and the reception is just south of Guilford.

The groom has sorted a Rolls Royce for the journey from the church to the reception, but he has asked me to sort out something for the 2mile journey from the Aviator hotel in Farnborough where he staying the night before his wedding to the chruch..

Having looked around the internet for interesting cars to hire, the prices are normally for 2 days over the weekend which seems a little bit excessive seeing as it will only really be needed for 2 miles on the day and neither of us can drive it because we will be at a wedding with a drink in our hands!

Does anyone have any ideas?

This is a bit cheeky, but i was wondering if perhaps someone on here would be willing offer a chauffeur service and deliver my friend in style.???!!!!! ;-). He love sports cars of all types, but he has expressed an interest in Italian exotica or and Aston Martin.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Martin

Use the same wedding car.

If it needs pick-up the bride then get picked up early and go for a pint to calm the grooms nerves!

Stick a cheeky request in your local region section, you may be surprised what people may offer. A while ago someone had a similar request in Berkshire and ended up with several Lambo's and a Ferrari to get some of the wedding party to the church.

Hired a 60s Cadillac for one sister, a split screen VW camper for the other. Both seemed happy!

If the hire price if for the day, it could be used to take the bridemaids/ bestman /ushers to the reception and then stay for photos?

I was an usher for my mate's wedding. Neither he nor his best man thought about how they were getting to the church, and we found out the day before.

Hence a very polished Skoda Octavia vRS with ribbons on...

Much as I like my car, I suspect you can do better! hehe
