150 miles to play with any suggestions ?

ok so test driving a car this week but limited to 150 miles
start location is birmingham city centre

can anyone suggest a good round trip with some sweet driving roads ?

was hoping to get to the nice roads in wales but its a bit to far ,think radnor forest via the A44 is about the limit.

I reckon you could just about squeeze a back road trip from Birmingham through to Buxton/Macclesfield (Going, bear with rough directions, towards Lichfield/Sutton way, through Rugeley up by the resevoir, toward Uttoxeter/Stoke etc) and back within 150miles but it really would be touch and go, you might buy the car though so worth a stab if its pretty much V5 filled in. Alternatively head through towards Burton via the roads that run parellel along the 38, Alrewas, Rolleston etc?
Or head south through Hereford and Worcester?
North(ish) West up the M6 and 54 then through the Shropshire Wrekin stopping and heading back around Shrewsbury/Oswestry way?
Loads of options.

Take it 145 miles out, call the AA and get a ride to about 3 miles from pickup point, drive the last 3 miles back once AA man has gone

Birmingham > Stourport > Bridgnorth > A458 to Shrewsbury > short bit of A5 around Shrewsbury > A488 through Pontesbury to Clun and on down to Knighton > A4113 to Ludlow > A4117 + A456 to Kidderminster > A456 back to Birmingham.
