Apologies for a dull question!

My wifes Xtrail has Dunlop Grandtrek tyres on which whilst ok are not great.

I'm looking to replace all 4 tyres but the choice in that size is somewhat limited.

Are there other sizes which would fit (and not mess with the speedo etc)..... the more I try to work this out the more confused I get!

Current tyre and size = Dunlop Grandtrek 215/60/R17

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Craig

play around with a tyre calc. Eg you could get 225/55/17 that aren't much different to your size. But you need to see how much those tyres would cost compared to the original size etc

Thanks CoolHands,

Looks like I'm as well sticking to the current size.

Think I will go for the Pirelli scoprions this time.

Cheers

Yeah 225/55s wouldn't affect it at all. Scorpions are pretty good too!!

^ he seems to be saying he is unwilling to change size. Don't know why as he's not saying - but he could save 25 quid a tyre.

Happy to change size but I can get the pirelli 215's for £115 a corner delivered which is cheaper than the other size.
