What car did I see....?

It's pretty rare that I see a car and have no idea what it is, but today in Shepherds Bush I spotted something unusual. Not sure if it was a kit car, but looked pretty well put together. The badge had a "V" and an "S" intertwined, and it looked a little like a Mazda RX-7 (the later model). Wanted to take a photo but was on my bike! Anyone have any ideas from this awful description?

Think I may have answered my own question......a Veilside RX-7.

It did look a little better in the flesh....but £49,000 is a crazy amount!
