New tyre fitted Friday, sliced sidewall on Wednesday. What's your record?

Previous owner drove the car with a flat so wrecked the sidewall. Bit of hunting & got a replacement on Friday for 190 quid just in time for my first track day in it today.

Great fun! Car performed great, drove home & literally right after getting out the tyre deflates before my eyes.

Huge slice in the sidewall, but of a search with the torch & there's a rusty old flattened tin can in the road outside my drive.

Arrrrgggghhhh!

So nearly 200 quid & 5 days, Shirley someone's done better??!!

Dunlop 208rr fitted to rear of a 2001 R1 one friday luchtime, Worn out by Sunday evening.

Fitted tyre at 9.15am. Pupil killed it at 10.30am. Back for another at 12.00. At least it was only a £50 job.

My Mum and Dad paid for two new tyres on my Cortina when I was 17. Pulled out of ATS, lost the back end and hit the kerb - split sidewall on a tyre fitted less than 5 minutes ago.

4 x new rims and tyres fitted on a Saturday, 2 x rims and tyres destroyed on Monday after curbing the car to avoid a tw@ doing a dodgy overtake coming from the opposite direction. . .

I actually think I wouldn't be so pissed off if it wasn't the tyre I replaced last week.
