Toying with the idea of chopping in a 2011 X-Trail, and a quick look at broadspeed threw up an X5 in the budget. Could quite easily sell the X-Trail privately or whatever - even WBAC and the like are offering strong money for it, so no worries there, but p/exing would make life a bit easier.
I've done a quick search and heard them mentioned a few times, but not that much from more recent threads.

Just wondering if anyone's used them really, and if, or rather how the finance / part exchanging side of things works through them? Do they just negotiate the discount and the rest is between you and the dealer or...?

Is it possible to negotiate a similar discount at dealers? Last BMW we had was an E46 new and they were pretty solid on the price, but a quick search on PH and it seems people reckon you can get 10% (how much truth there is in this I have no idea of course).

Any similar companies to broadspeed worth checking out?

I've not used them but heard a good things. They put you in touch with a dealer who is willing to give that discount, all finance is arranged through the dealer themselves and you can normally take advantage of the finance offers plus get your discount.

Yes, you possibly could. I've used the details from Broadspeed to negotiate a good discount at my local dealer "I'd rather buy from you but this price is awfully tempting, any chance of you doing a better price?"

I bought the Doblo from them. Made enquiry, they put me in touch with Mangoletsi up north and price was agreed fair bit below what local dealers would match. Car was ready to collect a week later. They offered to deliver it but I had visions of a 17 year old bouncing a new diesel engine off the red line all the way to Southampton so I collected it myself. Didn't have any problems and didn't have to haggle.

This is quite an old thread - so any new experiences of Broadspeed - or any other similar organisations that do the same thing... reliably!
