The Sunseeker Rally was on and I bumped in to these exiting a roundabout.

It's actually not uncommon to see them out on the roads around Ireland. When there's a rally on (which again happens quite a bit) they'll be driving through the town to service and to the hotel at the end of it.

There's quite a few young local lads who race, and I've seen them taking the cars into town instead of their road car.

No damage LOL

I bet you don't see many 6R4's... This is the last one in full competition. It retired yesterday (from competition).

Last 6R4 I saw was taking part in a Rally on Olivers mount in Scarborough. It was very fast but fugly.

Last one in full competition? There were three on the Wydean recently although most seem to be in tarmac spec these days.
We were on one of the stages a couple of seasons ago where Stuart Larbys 6r4 broke its crank, according to my sons who were talking to him afterwards. He apparently said that was it, finished, etc. Well, a couple of yers on and it's still going and still v. popular with spectators. Shame if he is stopping though. Found the hot hatches (one literally so!) in the BRC class pretty lacking in interest, TBH, a view shared by others around me as well.

What a stunning pair of cars, absolutely drool worthy, especially the 6R4.
