Hi Chaps,

Any recommendations for a good quality car battery charger and conditioner with auto cut out. Will be attached for up to a month at a time and left so needs to do a good job.

Thanks in advance.

CTEK MXS, I've got a few here and know of a number of very high end dealers who also use them . . . .for example if you wander into William Loughran, they have all the cars connected to them smile

As an alternative to the above an Optimate, I've run one for the last 7 odd years for up to 6 months at a time, no issues and still going strong.

Aldi or Lidl reguarly have high quality chargers on sale for around £15.

My Dad bought one for his bike and it's been perfect, they come highly recommended on here.

I use one permanently plugged into a caravan on my drive, means I'm ready at the drop of a hat. I've never had a problem with the battery.

The aldi or lidl ones they are rebadged, and come with a 3 year warrenty. I believe the lidl one is the same as what u would get if you went into a certain german company that sells 911's.

Anyone seen one of the cheap Lidl/Aldi ones for sale recently, I was looking the other week and couldn't find one.

They were on "special" in Lidl a few weeks ago. I was in a week or so later and saw one "knocking about" in the basket, you may get lucky.
