I'm not entirely sure, this is speedo readings, so probably somewhere around the same as you. I'm sure i've seen an indicated 165mph, down my driveway.

Indicated 200mph in a 360 Modena driving to Spa in 1999, never forget it, cacked myself.

I've been a passenger in a 800bhp supra doing an indicated 180mph.

Was a rather surreal experience.

Truth: 174 in my RS (Speedo Ind)
BS: 100mph in a corsa 1.1 in second gear... Lets say some of my workmates are light in the brain department.

How about the best of both? biggrin
This may seem like a lie, but I managed to get off the clock (indicated 140mph+) in an 8v 1.4l corsa B..

engine/gearbox sounded like it was being raped, tires sounded like they wanted to explode due to the road noise, the windscreen wipers were flapping like mad, wing mirrors were making so much noise they sounded like they were about to come off and for some reason I wasn't even stting bricks.. Don't think I'd feel the same now I'm a bit older and wiser doing it again

long private road with a bit of a decline of course

Indicated 155mph on the autobahn.

Though arguably I could say 180mph when landing back in Heathrow. It's technically on 4 wheels...

In my own vehicle, an indicated 140 in my MR2, but the speedo is very innacurate at higher speeds, so a more realistic speed would have been about 125MPH. I have been in a C6 Z06 at ~175MPH, which was scary stuff. Still, a Caterham or Westie at half that speed is scarier tbh!

Biggest load of bullst? Well, on Corsa-c.co.uk, there is a chap who is adamant that his old 1.0L Corsa did 140mph. Its hilarious.

Truth: Indicated 150mph in my old Leon Cupra
BS: Guy at work said he had his works van up to 135mph on the motorway. The van in question was a 1.5DCi Kangoo with a huge 80bhp. I drove it myself, and found it could only just top 100mph downhill.

170+ at a VMax event in my old RS6.
I would not like to do that speed on a public road.

I once went 714mph in a Corsa B. GPS verified.

I also did somewhere between 150 and 160 in a Supra whilst on a track. That was quite quick.

One of these is a lie.

Hilarious indeed! I heard a chap claimed to see north of 140 from his 1.4 Corsa - which is very nearly as hilarious as well!
