Cutting a new car key from a photograph...

Anyone else had this done?

Its the fourth time I have had a key cut from sending a photograph via Email... Latest one for a mates Audi arrived yesterday and works perfectly. Thats two BMW's, a Ford and now an Audi that have been cut off a photo!

Its a good job most cars have an immobilizer and chipped keys!

Sent photos to where? Places like BMW just need to know what type of key it is and they can just send a new one.

Ha thats crazy! dead handy if youre ever in a position to need it, pain in the ass if your car gets ransacked because you had a photo on t'internet with your key in it

You could allways cut a ford tibbie key just from looking at it so a pic is just as good, once you have your eye in it's fairly easy.
