As above really. Thinking about getting my car wrapped once I have thought of a colour it would look good in. Just wondering if any one has had it done and if it was worth it.

Also any idea of cost for a Boxster, have had a look around and have seen prices range from £700 odd to around £1800.

Thanks alot

Although I haven't done it to any of my cars before, I've heard horror stories, both on here and elsewhere, of people choosing the cheap option.

Personally speaking, I'd rather pay more if I know the company doing the work have a good reputation in this field.

Not sure, quite like the idea of a mat blue. But wouldn't mind something to stand out. Any ideas? GF doesnt mind me spending the money doing it as long as it doesn't clash with the tan seats!

Camo? F-22 Fighter inspired colours? I think I was going to spend money on wrapping a car, I'd choose a design or a matte colour ... This is where Photoshop skills are really useful wink

Brown seems to be the new black...if done right it could look really good and a bit different from the norm...or maybe egg shell white with contrasting chocolate brown alloys?

Think about resale value.

Would buyers presume the wrap is on to cover tatty paintwork?

Are you spending £1000+ and actually devaluing your car by £2k more?

That question will undoubtably be raised for good reason. You could get a quality camera and spend and hour or so taking pictures before the wrap.

Why do you want to wrap it if you don't even know what colour you want?

That riveria blue is rather nice there.

To be honest, not planning on selling it any time soon just want a change really and putting it out there to see if the wraps are worth it.

Totally Dynamic seem to be the 'pros' at this kind of thing. Although I don't entirely believe their statement that the wrap will come off later without leaving any marks or residue.

If its a 987 Boxster then I reckon wrapping it Carrara White will increase its value as they are rare.

I was discussing having my car wrapped on Tuesday and friends basically said "don't do it" they reckon the wraps will peel, especially around the arches and it will look a mess within 6months. Is there any truth in this?
