I remember always seeing ads for these in the back of Popular Mechanics when I was younger. I decided to look them up on Youtube and I am glad I did. Look how unstoppable they are! They are under 10 grand too which isnt too bad considering! They are amphibious as well, can go across lakes and onto land no problem. There are many options for them as well, like brush guards and removable roofs and door addons, sort of like Jeeps.

They are way more capable than a normal ATV. The controls are two levers, forwards and back and the other left and right. They can turn like the Batmobile too! The controls are in the middle so whether you sit on the left or right side you can control it.

I always wanted one of these and also one of those man made single helicopters. Although I am not sure I would trust it going too high. hehe

It was funny how I got to thinking of Argos again, from the Walking Dead thread. I thought if ever there was a Zombie outbreak these things would be the ideal traveler, that and a one man chopper left on the roof of your cabin in case you had no choice but to retreat and were trapped inside.

I think in a zombie invasion a hovercraft would be handy you can travel by sea and land if you have the big one you can even transport your nice collection of cars. Also when those pesky zombies climb on board or jump onto the hovercraft they will be sucked into the fans and blended.

A hovercraft is a good idea but it is much too big! Sure it has the advantage of huge blades to make mince meat out of the soft decomposing flesh of a zombie, but again, its way too large! You need something as small as possible but with some level of protection and all terrain capability. With the argo you could go right into a swamp area where the zombies will simply get stuck in the mud and or sink into the swamp, all the while you are making your way to the other side towards safety!

But your suggestion of using the blades to cut them up reminds me of the scene in 28 Weeks Later where the helicopter pilot angled it towards the group of zombies and used the blades to cut them all up.

Oh, I know what kind you have, for some reason I was thinking of the big ones they use for swamp tours or the ones you see in hunting/fishing programs on tv.

Any pics of yours?

What do you think of the Argo? Pretty wicked video of its capabilities isnt it!
