Just spotted this funky MINI, which I think looks pretty cool. The quality looked factory, anyone know anything about them?

Don't know anything about it, other than it is way cooler than a coupe.

Looks like a RedBull promo mini painted black and without the can.

Does look a lot better than the Coupe. Haven't heard about them or seen one before though.

yes I doubt it's particularly practical in relation to its size, but it does look rather funky! smile

Seen a couple of those think they are custom jobs! One based on the clubman platform would be good! bit like that little skoda pickup from a few years ago!

Never understood why people dont get the MINI brand! Its obvious that they make smaller versions of caars in other segmants! Mini (smaller that Polo), Coupe (smaller than TT, Countryman (smaller than X1)

It can't be that much smaller than a Polo surely?

I always thought it was Polo-sized or thereabouts, if it's a fair bit smaller you're getting towards stupidly impractical for more than one person like my Picanto (which is kinda like an original mini in that respect I guess hehe)

Having sat in one its definately a 2+2 rather than a 4 seater!

As a cooper S owner that looks absolutely amazing, if they actually made them i'd definately buy 1.

Call it the MINI pickup.

I do love my MINI but I dislike how they are diluting the brand somewhat with more and more models which look very similar to the last, I guess that goes for the vast majority of car brands these days though as most look similar to other cars in their model lineup.

Its all down to lean manufacturing.

Looks more interesting that a coupe, but not for me.

It looks like a pickup truck for a gay man.

But still much, much cooler than that hideous baseball cap coupe thing.

The redbull can kit is IIRC made in America exclusively for redbull conversions are then done locally using the kit.

Could it be a convertible with some kind of conversion kit that removes the fabric roof, rear seats and replaces it with that plastic arrangement?
