Something can't be right here. A rebuilt gearbox for £770 inc 6months warranty.

Appears to be of Polish origin.

I can't imagine there being a rebuilt torque converter involved. If there is then big hmmmm!

I do not think its a scam unless it is a very clever we are idiots type scam.

However I appreciate this is cheap for a recon auto with TC.

How are they seeking to be paid. If its CC or paypal its not a scam. Otherwise possibly but I doubt it.

You swap your old knackered gearbox for a nice newly reconditioned one. It even has a seven day warranty. What more do you want?

That is precisely why, if it's a scam its bloody subtle.

But I agree you would not buy one. That's why I cannot see it as a scam.

Scams are supposed to draw punters in not frighten them off.

Reverse psychology here!!

My mind is truly raped.

If it is a rebuild TC, then surely all the parts all in come to at least £300...

Doesn't seem like a scam to me, seems a pretty fair deal, they replace your knackered gearbox with a reconditioned unit and take your old one to recondition and put in another car.

These sort of services tend to cost around £1300-£2000 hence the oddness!

Jesus, that includes an exchange torque converter.

So that is a complete overhaul for £770 and 6 months warranty.
