Is the BMW 5 series GT tanking?
Discussion
Are BMW actually selling any 5 series GT's? I think I've only ever seen one.
Quite fancy one when they reach sub £15k... unloved styling + public don't get it + excellent 7 series build quality = huge depreciation and perfect 'PHers curiosity barge'
Even though it cost a premium over the 5 Touring new, I reckon they'll be 'worth' less used. Wishful thinking?

I like everything about them except the looks.

I'm with you I think the GT is superb and totally left of centre. Only thing is they look crap with small wheels and low spec. Panoramic sunroof and proper wheels with 535d engine will be a fabulous buy anytime soon. Cote d'azure beckons!!! Why buy a rather dull new shape 5 series. As a huge fan of the brand and having owned several E39's and E46's I'm struggling with the new era of BMW's, I just don't get where they are coming from. Anybody else feel the same ? I guess I must be getting old!
