When I was younger I always used to get a matching key-fob for my car, but I haven't bothered for years now. Do PH'ers still buy them?

I guess I'm now approaching the age where a smart key-ring might come in very handy at those "special" parties that we hear about! wink

But won't the dirty slapper be a bit disappointed to be getting into a Vauxhall after spying the Lotus badge?

I don't think I've ever had a key ring other than alarm fobs.
I remember, as a kid, my dad telling me not to buy key rings with my car on it incase it got stolen - wouldn't have been hard to indentify what car it belongs to, big vecta and ford keyring.

Spent £60 on one when I bought my Ferrari.

It came back with a mechanics teeth marks in it the first time it went for a service.

Typical!!!

Only a few months ago actually - the first one I've bought in years! Went to the Memorabilia show earlier this year (or was it late last year.. can't remember) in Birmingham and bought a rather cool metal & powdercoated transformers decepticon logo keyring! Had to do something to try and de-cute my Fiat 500 key! smile

My Elise came with one and I threw it out. I don't see the point in carrying extra rubbish around in my pocket - the alarm fob is annoying enough.

I had a nice laser cut metal "Puma" script when I had one, and a TVR fob with the S, but since then I've just had LED torch jobbies.

Just my key, fob and a PH keyring.

Think I'm going to change out the PH keyring soon though, been on there ages.

If I carried a manbag I'd invest in one, I like them, I don't like heavy pockets though so my keyring is kept to a minimum. One key, house keys separate with no keyring too.

Hadn't bought one for years until last year.

I don't like to have big sets of keys in my pockets and found the dealer freebie with my car was a little large for my tastes, even if it was quite nice).

5 minutes on eBay and I sucumed to the little photo calling out "buy me, buy me..."

I've never bought one smile

Can't have one on the ECU for the Aston. I got the little steel Jaguar F1 car free in the late 90s from the motorshow at the NEC which is on my Polo keys. Got a Merc badge key ring free with my SL which is now on the ML keys.

I bought a steel, mini pint of Guiness for my house keys the other year though.

Never, they just seem to turn up!
The one I use now was given to me as a strange joke one birthday by a mate and says Douglas (not my name) on it. It's very plain and simple and always causes confusion when I lose my keys and use the keyring as a description but for some reason I kind of like it.

I have a standard keyring from the BMW dealer my car was bought from.

I also use their umbrella to keep me dry.

I certainly wouldn't buy one!
