Stone chips down to the metal - how to treat?
Discussion
Noticed that when the little Toyota was used as a dawn-raid motorwary hack for a few months it has picked up some stone chips on the bonnet and they seem to be down to the metal
Poor paint I know, but hey, it's a town car not a L3 warrior so my fault I suppose...
How should I treat them? Not too fussed about how good it looks as we'll keep it in the family as a useful little shopping car, more want to make sure that I don't start getting metal corrosion / rust spots coming through so early in it's life.
What DIY products / method would you use?

Just use a bit of touch up paint from the dealer.
There are various methods for flattening back the resultant blob of paint once dryed to make it less visable like sanding with 2000 grit. But probably a bit hairly for a beginner. So just build it up slowly filling the chip without putting to much in. Try buying small modelling brushes instead of using the brush supplied with the touch up paint for more precision.
