I have a zavoli single injection LPG gas system on my landcruiser, the fuel gauge for it in the cabin has stopped working, my auto electrician has had a look and a clear plastic dome on top of the tank with a multi plug in it is corroded, i have resherched and found out this is the sender unit for the fuel guage so 3 questions here
1. There are different ohms of sender unit 50/90/etc does this make any difference
2. To fit it does the tank have to be empty( will the gas vent when it is removed)
3. Are these straight bolt on units or will the unit need to be calibrated to show the correct level of gas
Cheers

Take it to an LPG installer for something like that. A face full of LPG isn't something you'd want and it'll be bloody cold inside that tank. They'd fit the right gauge too. Some work out the quantity left in different ways to others.

They are inaccurate anyway.

I just fill up, do 200 miles then fill up again.

Doesn't really matter if you run out - flick it onto petrol.
