Argh funny noise - waterpump?

Ok, my car has had this noise for a while but it's getting progressively worse over the last couple of weeks.
It's coming from the left hand side of the engine and gets quicker with more revs but not louder.
The recording I've attached is from my phone with the bonnet up - it sounds like a tractor. The actual engine doesn't sound like that though, if you give it a rev you can hear the engine sounds fine - it's one of the peripherals from the right (driver's side) side of the engine block.
Don't think it's the timing belt / tensioners they were done 10000 miles ago. I've got a feeling it's the waterpump though - which has been done on this vehicle before.
