I was driving through the village of Odiham in Hants this afternoon, and was surprised to see one of these coming towards me.
Absolutely love seeing stuff like this, but I did wonder what it was doing there. Anyone know of any classic ralliage going on soon?

There are several Alitalia Stratos liveried replicas in the country. Most are absolutely stunning machines.

Then, mine must be an original! Also, the vast majority of replicas are RHD. All the originals were built LHD.

If it was a proper one it should have a V6 Ferrari engine in it, which makes a distinctive sound when driven lol wink

the Alfa v6 is a popular power plant for replicas, they sound ALMOST as good as the originals. Lister Bell are a newish outfit making replicas now, and their quality is apparently really really good. I'm on a saving binge at the moment to try and get myself one, fingers crossed, one day.

Was lucky enough to follow a Fiat Dino coupe(same engine as the original Stratos, different carbs) through the hills down here on a recent Italian car rally, he had to keep the revs up to get any power out of it, so I turned down the radio, opened the windows and just listend the sweet sweet sounds coming from it. Absolute bliss!!

There seems to be a vicious rumor on here that you own a TR7.
What's all that about?

Many on Pistonheads seem to have some difficulty in differentiating between the two models when it comes to working out what my particular vehicle is. Some even believe that it's brown in colour and a convertible.

Sort of wish I'd had a chance to maybe take its Reg number. But I had so much more to take in!
