So on my way to work in London tonight, I was overtaken.... at some speed by a smallish/squarish people carrier/hatchback sort of thing on the M1. Looked a bit like a Fiat Punto at the front, and a Suzuki Wagon R at the back. I caught it up out of intrigue, and all I could see it was a Honda with a Type R badge on the back. It was 96 registered, I assume a Japanese import, but google so far doesn't give me any ideas.

So what is it ?

I'll take a punt and say it wasn't a Type R, just a honda with a Type R badge on it.

Thank you ... that was it. Just a quick search, seems to be wide open for modifying though

Put it this way, at a speed that could already be described as 'getting on with it' he accelerated away from me fairly quickly, I was in a 4.2 V8 Jag X350, which is no slouch at higher speeds.

In fact re-reading the ad in my link above, with reference to the number plate change, it could have been this very car. The badging was identical.
