The good news is that we have a little one on the way, the great news is that the Mrs isn't forcing me to sell our M3.

Does anyone have any experience fitting a baby seat in an E92 or similar coupe?

Ideally i would like to know what brands are best.

Thanks.

BMW Baby Seat 0+ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Baby-Child-K...

Pricey, but guaranteed to be a perfect fit and will be difficult to find one better.

Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix and Isofix base. Granted I had the M3 saloon, but we've used it in a e92 coupe and it fitted fine. Don't get the BMW one as I doubt anyone makes a connector to fit it straight onto a pram, a facility worth its weight in gold when baby is asleep and you want to keep them that way!

Only issue is if you're tall then you might need to put it behind the passenger instead.

There are a LOT of options. Chances are you'll want a car seat that clips in to a "travel system" (pushchair/buggy) and there's quite a few manufacturers. Main seat makes being MaxiCosi and Britax I guess, although Mamas & Papas and Mothercare also do their own.

I went for the Recaro travel system + isofix base

Travel system was ~$400 or so + ~80 for the base.
