Anyone fitted lowering springs to their steed?
What did it do to the ride? Are you happy with the results?

I just want to firm up the ride. The shocks are fine so I will be keeping the standard shocks. It's a Suzuki Baleno POS commuter shed, so nothing special, and I really don't want to spend a lot of money on it. The standard suspension is very 'American' which is quite boat like (soft).

I was in the same 'boat' (get it? smile) as you and I went with Eibach lowering springs, only made 2sm or so difference. This for me, improved the ride tremedously and got the stance of the car just right. I then went further and added koni yellow shocks and now she rides like a dream.

I've lowered my MR2 on Apex 30mm springs. Firms the ride up nicely, but is still just as comfortable.

As long as your shocks are in good condition, you'll be fine.
