Audi Remote Central Locking

anyone ever have a problem getting it to start because the immobiliser won't go off

seems that unless you do everything in sequence

unlock, get in and start it instantly then you have to lock it again and wait 2 minutes

I drive a 2005 A2 1.4 se btw
