Like an A4, but, extraordinarily, slightly heavier! No idea how they managed that.
If these 2.8s are the 12v ones, which I believe they should be, they will consume fuel totally disproportionately to the amount of power they deliver. However, they also sound very nice indeed and the cars are well screwed together. Don't lower it or buy one that has been, and listen for knocks or rattles from the suspension because arms are expensive and well susceptible to wear. They should be nice and quiet.
My 2.6 is the same engine in almost every respect and, at 125,000 miles, is utterly bulletproof. Seen one at 350k, actually.
