Do I buy a 2002 320D (2.0l tdi manual) and sell my PD Passat

I currently drive a 2002 VW passat TDI with 165000 miles on it. Its a good going car but coming into the summer I fancy a change. Came across one with 114,000 miles on the clock. its been through the usual turbo fault which i hear is caused by some air filter that blocks up feeding air to the turbo?
so that problems been fixed and the reciepts can be seen to prove everything has been done right. I've read a few online reviews but just hoping fellow PistonHeads users will pull through with some sound advice as usual.

I'm only coming 20, its the same insurance group etc as the Passat so i've got that covered, but any advice on reliability, fuel consumption etc would be great.

bear in mind I'm not looking to buy the car to rake about in, something different at my age with a bit of power for the summer that wont leave me cleaned out on mechanic bills. Its on for £1600
