Coach hire - companies and prices

Not very Pistonheads but need a modern 53 seater coach from London every few months and have no idea what I should be looking to pay - £400/£600/£800... Day trips, from about 9am London pick up to 8pm drop off with about 200 miles.

Anyone got any ideas on price and companies they'd recommend?

do you mean hiring the coach for the day? (with their driver).

struggling to remember but when I hired one about 4 years ago it was in the region of £1200 IIRC. Can't find the relevant emails so might be a bit off.

Yes - coach with their driver and fuel. £1200 - blimey!

Contact Buzzlines, ask for Scott. He should give you some idea, and they are based in Kent. They do lots of trips to the Alps for the company I work for.

Had a quote a year ago, 54 seater, approx 150 miles round trip - 1 hr 20 mins or so each way - £400.

From a company in the North though so probably not much use for London.
