Continuing my quest for a change of car, looking at either a new 370z or 2 year old XK, only trouble is there are only 2 colours I won't have, black or silver, which seem to be the only colour choice in second hand jags & Nissan appear to have sold out of every colour except for black until the summer cry.

So no wonder everyone goes for black or silver - it seems that that is the only colour available to buyconfused

Apt tribute to Henry Ford..."hell, a customer can have any colour he wants as long as it's black".

QI was wrong.

Henry Ford's autobiography My Life and Work published 1922 said:
In 1909 I announced one morning, without any previous warning, that in the future we were going to build only one model, that the model was going to be "Model T," and that the chassis would be exactly the same for all cars, and I remarked:

"Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black."
Model Ts were not available in black until 1914 (although they had black bits).
