bought a large tin of this to strip a gate before repainting and some to strip some centre caps on my alloys

it's claimed it can strip 15 layers of paint

but apart from a few bubbles it has not done very much

have they weakened the strength?, I remember buying it years ago and it was good

suggestions/advice please ?

We have some ancient stuff sitting in the garage and it will strip almost anything. Maybe they have weakened it?

Yes, the formulation was changed around '09
