There are many examples of illogical driving that baffle me these days, but one that particularly irks just now, is people tailgating you on a dual carriageway when you are on the INSIDE LANE and the outside lane is clear. I can only assume that its part of the current brain off driving culture we are seeing, but I wish I could get a sign on the back of my car to say "The outside lane is empty, please overtake if you feel I am going too slow!" Sometimes its coz people have moved over two miles before they want to turn off the dual carriageway, other times there is no rhyme or reason for it. They often appear quite quickly, indicating they were going much faster a few moment ago and then stick to your bumper, as if hypnotised!

Anyone else come across this phenomonen?

I've not noticed that but I did experience a new phenomenon yesterday.
Quarter wit pulls out from a side turning in front of me causing me to brake hard and slow to about 20 mph then brake tested me because I had the audacity to be up his arse. If the fking wker bothered actually accelerating instead of dawdling along, I wouldn't even have caught him up. .

Unfortunately most tts on the road tend to tailgate most of the time, I'm seriously considering a custard pie throwing machine which hides under my rear bumper !!
