At my local Tesco petrol station eekeek Long queue of panic buyers waiting to get to a pump. So I drove past them all. This produced not unexpected reactions - sounding of horns, waving of fists, shouting. One woman even tried to pull out to block me furiousfuriousfurious

Jesus, I just wanted to put some air in my fking tyres! rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes

Yes but you pushed in front of them and some of them may have wanted to put air into their tyres. Next thing you know there will be panic tyre inflation.

Did similar. Queueing down the road a bit to get in, then chaos at the first half dozen pumps. Drove by the numpties and pulled up to the empty pumps at the far end of the line...

Brilliant.

I did this yesterday, it was carnage.

All the sheep were waiting in line, i though bks went round them all so i could turn around.

There were some unhappy faces until they realised what i was doing!

Don't forget to bring all your pushbikes, wheel barrows etc. and ideally a a few packets of balloons. With ideas like that you'll be invited to join the cabinet wink

Hypothetical question:

If one were to journey to the petrol station on foot with Jerry Can, where does one stand in the queue?

I wondered that too. Imagine if someone runs out of petrol and walks to the station with a can...I bet they'd be lynched if they walked straight up to the pump. Probably safer to wait for the RAC/AA if it happened.
