Facelift fails

Pretty much all manufacturers give their models a mid-life face lift. But for every redesign success story, there's also a Jodie Marsh.
A great example is the Giugiaro styled Fiat Grande Punto. It started out in 2006 as the design he is most proud of:

Then a couple of years ago it underwent a 'mare at the plastic surgeons:

And has recently been salvaged by a return to something more resembling its youthful years:

So PH'ers let's see some other cases of "should have left well alone". There must be dozens.

Yep.. I've got the feeling this thread is going to degenerate very quickly.
Do your research first folks - posting pictures of replacement models earns an automatic fail!
PS. Nice one about the Alfa 147, but I actually think the same front improved the 156 (the scooped out bumper of the original looked daft).
