A seriously rich friend of mine has made me an offer I can't refuse. Because I have a 289, he thinks I am a car expert, and has asked me to help him. He is an extremely busy man and loves flash cars but knows absolutely nothing about them, so he asked me what I would consider if I were in his position. He has now drawn up a short list of cars he is considering and he wants me to approach the dealers to test drive them for him and arrange a deal. His list includes Aston Martin, Bently and Maserati. Unfortunately he isn't considering Ferrari, Lamborghini or the like as he needs to get his golf clubs in the boot. So I suppose the next week or so is going to be a tough one. I might even have to smarten myself up.
