We are going to Disneyland tomorrow with the kids in our motorhome. All packed up, filled up earlier one, ready to go. Went to start it to move it earlier, nothing. Turn key and there is nothing, although a clicking relay can be heard under the bonnet.
Have put in a new battery, cleaned earth connections, banged starter motor - nothing.
It has a Toad Ai606 alarm and I suspect it is immobilising it. When the car was sat after driving it earlier the alarm went off a couple of time as I disarmed it but forgot to open the door and it went off.
Anyone have any ideas? Any knowledge of Toad alarms?
We called our breakdown cover, absolutely un feckin believable. the guy turned up to jump start it. I said it doesn't need that as it's got a new battery and I have checked the power and it's fine. he said 'Oh right, not much i can do then'. they won't send someone else out as they class it as the same fault - obviously i need to raise this as an issue, but need to get it sorted as a priority and they're not helping.
Cheers
