Had a great day out last yesterday with 20+ fellow Alfa owners - a 330 mile (for me) trip around Snowdonia and Anglesey - and NO - there were no breakdowns on any of the cars

Great selection of 159s, Breras, GTV's a couple of 155's / 156's, a pair of 145 / 146, Giulietta, Mito and even a pearlescent white 8C Spider

All met up at Lymm truckstop and collected a few more at Chester then the fun began.

Down the A55 to Llandudno - 3 runs through the tunnel smile

Across to Betws y Coed and into Sowdonia - up to Capel Curig and through the spectacular Ogwen Valley - some amazing stretches of fast challenging roads which were pretty traffic free

Then on to Anglesey and the A4080 all the way round to Holy Island on the west coast, Trearddur Bay, South Stack Lighthouse and Holyhead.

Finished the tour of the island with the A5025 up to Cemaes Bay, Amlwch, through Benllech and a final detour through Beaumaris (the 1 mile stretch coming out of Beaumaris heading to the bridge was awesome)

Only 4 of us finished the entire route as others needed to head off home but a 159, 155, 145 and my GTV made up a nice cross section of recent Alfa history to complete the whole trip

Betws > Ogwen is great isn't it? Loads of twisties covered in shellgrip!

Ps the tunnel is at Conwy, not Llandudno

And I thought "Ahh, Alfa reliability at it's best" hehe

Looked like a great day out.

Only 4 finished due to people needing to head off - zero breakdowns, zero oil / water needed, nothing fell off

To be fair I think a few people (me included) did make sure that there were tools, spares, oil. water etc on board smile

I was out that way yesterday and noticed a few Alfas - 156s particularly - but didn't really think about it. Cracking day for it!
