just placed my order for it today. well chuffed, never owned a new car before. Really looking forward to getting my mucky paws on it. Its a twin- turbo 1.4-litre petrol TSI, with 178bhp. should look exactly like this, will get the brother to spray the wheels black. Love it a little pocket rocket. Some will laugh, some will criticise. But i cant wait. lol

well this is a mobility car. it was this or a juke 1.6 turbo or a mini countryman. All had 180bhp. but this is buy far the best i think.

Careful with spraying the wheels, it'll need to be back to standard when it goes back...

Nice choice though, hope you enjoy it driving

How come you didn't you just order the black wheels?

Good choice anyway, I really enjoy mine.
Only downsides for me are rattles, road noise and poor stereo (Though if you spec it the Bluetooth streaming option is very good)

Also in your original post you stated that its a twin turbo...
It's actually "Twin charged" which consists of a turbo and a supercharger. I always like saying this :P

Don't expect to get more than 30mpg if you're having fun, that 45mpg is enticing...

Didn't know you could get a VRS estate. Actually, are there any other small, fast estates these days? Everything I can think of is much much bigger scratchchin

Not so small, but the forthcoming Focus ST will be available in estate trim smile

IIRC the Fabia estate is lighter than the hatch. Random factoid. That might be wrong.

It has a slightly higher top speed too! I think its 1mph more or something silly.

The hatch has 25kg of ballast behind the rear bumper offset to the left too.

Sounds about right. Did you have any options specc'd?

To give you some idea, the Range Rover Evoque has a 7 month waiting list.

Good choice thumbup (coming from a happy Octavia VRS owner smile ) I really like the look of the Fabia VRS saloon, in green with a black roof! There's a couple round here, that I see.

I'm sure you'll love it - the 4 week wait will make it all the more sweet when it arrives! Make sure you savour the moment when you collect it for all it's worth, lucky bugger...

When you have it, post back on here and tell us what you think, yeah?

Just been quoted 16 to 20 weeks for a Octavia vRS DSG estate!

So 4 weeks sounds pretty good!

Do you mean hatchback or is there genuinely a saloon version? I know the previous Fabia came in a (much unloved) saloon.

D'oh! Yes of course, I meant hatchback. When I wrote 'saloon' I was just thinking of 'not estate' biggrin
