Hi all

The most stupid and potentially expensive minor fault of them all. When I was going to change the bulbs on my Legacy I noticed one side bulb cluster was held in by a cable tie (I left that one as the bulb was working) and the other side was held by a wire (managed to change that).

Obviously the headlights are mis-aligned and so far no one can fix the broken clips or brackets. All I can find are Impreza Hawkeye lamps, which looks similar to the MK4 2004 Legacy I have but I'm not sure if they will fit.

Soooo, anyone have a pair? Or know if the Impreza ones will fit , the Impreza ones advertised on ebay are 2005-2007 ones.

The cost from Subaru is eye - watering! I've registered with all those breakers yards websites that source parts, but there are so many of those I don't think they'll come up with anything.

Thanks

Azur

Thats how the headlamp breaks down so you can try and get a more specific part rather than the whole unit.

I broke the bulb retaining clip on my spec b (stupid weak plastic)and its a nightmare trying to find suppliers other than subaru.

Good Luck!

Try UKLegacy forum, and see if a member there called Sprint has his left. He destroyed the engine in his 05 Spec-B so parted the car out. He still has *some* parts left but the main bulk of it has now been scrapped.

You need an 04-06 model. The ones after that have different lights.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help chaps, much appreciated. I have till the MOT in Sept to find them but I'd want to do it now. It seems like not many of these cars end up in the breakers yard, which is something of a testament to them.
